A call for donations to support populations
"There is an urgent need to support humanitarian assistance in Ukraine and the surrounding regions. Currently, only 9% of the humanitarian response for 2022 and the actions of NGOs in Ukraine have been funded by the international community. And we must be aware of the suffering that will result from the resumption of the conflict in Ukraine: increased civilian casualties, soaring humanitarian needs and possible displacement of populations. In wartime, it is the innocents who suffer most. CARE joins other humanitarian agencies in calling for an immediate cessation of hostilities."

What help will be provided?
In order to provide emergency aid to the Ukrainian population, the international NGO CARE is joining forces with People in Need. People in Need is one of the most important NGOs in Eastern Europe that has been active in Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict in 2014. Together, we are organizing emergency distributions: food, water, and hygiene kits. We will also provide financial and psychosocial support to people affected by the violence.

CARE Belgium Aisbl is constituted as an international non-profit association governed by the law of June 27, 1921, as amended by the law of May 2, 2002, on non-profit associations, international non-profit associations and foundations. It is entitled to receive legacies and donations.
