Projects

The main objectives of CARE Belgium's projects are the promotion of gender equality, respect for women's rights and their economic empowerment, health, food security, climate resilience and humanitarian action in emergency situations, whether natural or man-made.
All CARE projects are built on a holistic approach, intervening in complementary areas in order to effectively combat the interdependence of the causes of poverty. We place women, who are the first victims of poverty and also the agents of change, at the heart of all our actions.

Since 2021, Enabel has been one of our key partners. This institutional development organization has placed its trust in us and is working alongside CARE Belgium to support our projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Tanzania, and Palestine.
